About Us

Introduction

My name is Adam, I am the driving force behind XaserTech. I decided in 2007 to start my own technology consultation business as with my experience, Perth computer shops and the like are just not really what people are looking for mainly in terms of service and spending the time with you to fully understand each and everyone's individual needs. So this is where I come in, I physically don't have a shop front as such but I feel I still supply a better service than the typical computer shop.

I run my business from home that's the only difference in actually having a typical shop, I have at my disposal a fully equipped workshop furnished with carpeted assembly benches (static safe of course), test station with all calibrated and functional test and diagnosis equipment. (Yes, even in this day and age some things "can" still be repaired rather than thrown out and replaced).

My Wife helps out by doing the office duties and business bookkeeping. While am busy looking after my clients, because without my clients there is no business. So with the normal benefits that a properly run business has, We actually enjoy doing it. We take pride in everything we do, from Quoting to Invoicing everything is overseen by me the Director, so rest assured if your happy I'm happy.

Directors Background

I have had a long interest in anything technical ever since I was a toddler, every christmas or birthday that went by I ended up with toys that beeped, buzzed, moved or was generally powered by a battery of sorts, but....

....as time went by the novelty wore off and I had to know what made them tick, so I pulled the toys apart, (much to my parents disappointment) I ripped the guts out and tried to work out how these things functioned.

In the later years entering high school nothing changed except for not only was I pulling things apart, I had this driving ambition to make things better, faster, stronger or make something completely different.

Anyway with all that I completed my Certificate in Electro-technology, then moved on to be a mechanical trades assistant, that lasted about 18 months as I had enough of smelling like solvents and whatnot, but gained enough knowledge to repair, service and heavily modify my first car a Datsun 200B wagon (ok stop laughing now!).

Moving on, I then tried a few different jobs trying to find my groove as I didn't really know what I wanted to do but I just needed to be doing something. With all the employment changes and such I managed to see a lot of different industries, meet a lot of people and I realized that some day I might start my own venture.
